Last time I hung a stocking it was

Filled with toys and sweets

Not unlike so many

Other Christmas treats

This year I’m hanging two stockings

O’er the fireplace

A pair made out of sheer black silk

With just a touch of lace

If Mr. Clause comes through for me

He’ll fill those stockings tight

With a lithe and leggy beauty

To enjoy a sleigh-bed ride

Merry Christmas to all

and to all

a Goodnight
