The Pirate and the Admiral’s Daughter
By: Fee
Daring Captain Bones called for his eyeglass
His sea chart and his first mate
He called for his pipe and for his grog too…
All to battle stations no grace to no nations
‘neath the skull and the crossed bones
We’ll wildly rove the deep blue
He sailed the feared galleon “Black Widow”
Sleek with her many four pounders
A wild fearless young crew, fleet on their feet
They spotted a fine British three master
The Black Widows was a little bit faster
And so they claimed this sweet treat
Daring Captain Bones spots a fair maiden
A raven haired beauty…a fine little cutie
Of grace and refine….
She claimed she was the Admiral’s daughter
But like a young lamb to the slaughter
He ravages her treasures as they...
shared his sweet wine
The lass stole daring Captain Bone’s heart
And then she sadly broke it apart
When she drugged the “Black Widow” both Captain and crew…
She turned them all in to her father
To all be hanged for their slaughter
Her British Admiralty father
Oh what else could this lass do
Now the lassie still walks the wild coastline
Where the waves crash and roar…
While weeping she walks and still wonders unsure
If the shape in the mist is her daring Captain Bones spirit
Forever sailing the “Black Widow”
Tell they're together once more…
