Poor Santa’s Signs of the Times

 

You know they say times are getting rougher

And even I can see the signs for sure

Santas going to be downsizing to a mobile home

I just got evicted because I’m too poor

 

I had to lay off half my elves this year

Wee buggers wanted more pay and less hours

Threatened Santa they’d form a little union

So much for all Santa’s magic powers

 

 

Sold off extra inventory in the toy shop

But the IRS says I still didn’t pay enough

The President said we need to work together

Goodness gracious me, I know he has it rough

 

 

Mrs. Claus turned out to be such a little bitch

Her sugar cookies were a thin disguise

She ran off with some guy named Jack Frost

It really didn’t come as a surprise

 

 

I’m thinking maybe its time I stepped down

Real estate broker said he had an offer over the top

From someone wants to build something called…

Everyone is feeling the crunch this year and Christmas has turned into a material wasteland. I wonder if the kids of today think beyond their video games and tecking phones.

This is great, Fee, er, uh, Santa...being permanently on the naughty list I should be mad at Santa, but I would feel sorry if his house he did lose...the hell with the elves...let them get unemployment compensation...ed ;-)
