Old Dogs Connecticut winter deep freeze. Tenative legs move methodically in orthopedic shoes. Avoiding black ice on pavement, white flour in food. Can I have a coffee without serious complications? Can I live independently without rehabilation? Can I manage my finances? Will I be able to choose? If you have no devoted spouse, or wonderful children to look out for you? We are old dogs, leaning together, descending the steep stairwell of time.
