Elipsis Dash had problems
On literary tasks
"Should I use my surname (Dash)?
Or first name?" he would ask.

"That depends," his mentor said,
In his wise report
"Whether you go trailing off....
Or if you've been cut short-"

"If you're not sure what to say...
Then use 'Elipsis' any day,
If interruptions (though) should slash
Then by all means, use your 'Dash'."

"Oh, I see!" Elipsis said,
Nodding his enlightened head.
"If I'm thinking... thinking that-"
"Right. You've got it! So - that's that."
