Shell Creek

We recently went fishing in one of the near by creeks and had a wonderful time.

Sun shines in blue clad sky,
circleing hawk flys on high

Standing in water up to my knees,
I feel the coolness of the breeze

Putting fresh bait on my hook,
waiting for a bass to take a look

I stand here in awe of natures scene,
enjoying the magnatude of her scheme

This is where I belong,
In Shell Creek, my hearts filled with natures song

Yes, Shell Creek-any natural place-is where you belong, where any of us belong. The illusion we all busy ourselves so intently is a sham. You have found the answer and I am happy for you. s/henry

Oh how I wish I were there with you. I love to fish, but haven't done it in a long time. There aren't too many "fishing holes" like there once were. You've written a lovely poem and a lovely read. Blessings.

This wonderful written scene takes me back to a time when I too was able to enjoy God's delightful lands of blue skies and pristine waters in the mid-west and Alaska. Thank you, Mary Grace. It makes me :) alot!! Brynn
