Lulled by the tone of a zen dragon chime Standing behind her admiring our reflections in the Gothic mirror A specific runestone ancient Scandinavian ideogram clenched in her hand A Jupiter paper weight composed of real volcanic ash from Mt. St. Helens Celtic romance she plays on the zither, Bach's Minuet and Scarbourough Fair A touch of mystery she's dressed in black midnight chiffon Myrhh and sandalwood scent the air The Druids Calendar Ostara, Beltane, Samhain, and Yule I remove her Swarovski wine drop earrings Art Noveau We trace the pentacle, a pattern through the sky by Venus every four years Beneficial influence Planetary connection She dabs Laurie Cabot's potion of amber and patchouli on our bedchamber doorknob to let things happen. I so agree with Peter, sis. This is such a picturesque scene of beauty, astrology, symbolism, romance, and OMG black midnight chiffon, is just to die for. Thank you sis, because you keep showing me that the world is beautiful and full of those who care for each other in romantic interludes. This poem sets the scene for that romance, sis. Thnx so much for sharing. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly.
