Luke, it's obvious that you care about people. Christmas I believe brings all this home to those who are lucky enough to have security and loved ones. Christmas does matter, it gives even those poor souls a chance to feel the cheer around them. People do give and care about the folk they know in this position. I just wish the Governments did enough to make sure the needy had something at Christmas. Those on welfare in the UK are given a bonus cheque. Not sure if that happens here or not.

A very loving, tender and caring POEM. Thanks for sharing your concern for others. My experience is many people become givers during the Christmas season and I think that is wonderful.
