A defence of individuals and eccentrics against the dark forces of conformity. In these days of the thought police and 'progressive liberals' who want to turn us into the Borg we need oddballs.
Though idiots can be enraging
some are funny and engaging,
enjoy their eccentricities.
It does no harm to talk to trees
or bathe in custard and baked beans
and hatch a million crackpot schemes
for running cars on chicken poo.
If all were the same what would we do?
Nobody would start a riot
and all would eat a healthy diet.
There would be no unicyclists
bog – snorkellers or philatelists,
no druids or steam railway geeks
in a world run by control freaks.
Everyone would be insane,
but their madness would be all the same.
I enjoy your mind. You are of that rare breed - original. And (I think, hopefully), couldn't give a ****. Also enjoying your blog re those who measure the bloody obvious but never actually DO anything!
Fractured Frazzled Folk Fables and Fairy Farces is adult literature that satirizes famous children's stories, fables and fairy tales. The work is Jay Dubya's twenty-first e-book available in Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook.
Keep well,
