This should have been up for Valentine's day buy I was otherwise engaged. A cute little poem about Pooh and Piglet, two of the favourite pet names used in Valentine's personal messages in U.K. newspapers. Pooh of couse is always trying to steal Piglet's hunny in the stories. Well what else could you think I meant?
Dear Piglet will you let me be
your bear of little brain?
I am filled with all the love and longing
a small bear can contain.
Pack a picnic basket, let us meet
in hundred acre wood,
with Christopher Robin grown up and gone
now we need not be good.
We can spread out our groundsheet in
some quiet, shaded spot
and I will sit very close to you to
dip my finger in your hunny pot.
And we can stay out all night long
or stay out all our life,
nobody ever looks in our toybox,
we can do what we like.
With many grown up games to play
we can have lots of fun
and discover all the secret pleasures;
things they protect toys from
I will make you happy my love
So long as I can put
my arms around your slender body
and my finger in your hunny pot.
