Don't know who wrote this,, but I got out of there as soon as I thawed in spring. Ron
It's winter in Wisconsin And the gentle breezes blow Seventy miles an hour At twenty-five below. Oh, how I love Wisconsin When the snow's up to your butt You take a breath of winter And your nose gets frozen shut. Yes, the weather here is wonderful So I guess I'll hang around I could never leave Wisconsin 'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

Ron,

Don't know how anyone could live in that ice bowl. As for me, I'm a desertrat and proud of it! This was very humorous and so true..I guess, never been there.

Great poem!! I'd be laughing if my face wasn't frozen. Not that cold here in North Carolina, but it is all too easy to imagine what it
feels like to freeze Up Nawth. Hard to watch on TV! I grew up in
Illinois, so I've seen a few snows. But nothing like the ones
Wisconsin gets. Reminds me of Garrison Keilor describing Minnesotans looking like turtles 'cause they're so hunched over. Thanks for posting this, Ron. . .I think....shiver, shiver, brrrrrrrrrrr
