Satire. I know that many people feel strangeness. I just listened to a woman give a long tirade on bugs in her body. She is so obsessed with killing and preventing them. What about drones delivering our packages and peeking in our windows? Aren’t companies already analyzing data on us to find our weaknesses to exploit them?

A Weird Day by Ron MS Designer



Weird Days


Weird days are upon us,

In many strange and new ways.

I guess that can be expected,

As we face these weird days. 


Things keep popping in on us,

That we never experienced before,

At least no rude traveling salesman,

Knocking with a smile at our door. 


Still, they seem to be in our business,

Whether we are in business or not.

It seems a bit insidious, doesn’t it?

Trying to take my hard earned plot.


Just a nosy drone delivering packages,

Looking through our window pane,

Checking to see if we are home or not,

Also, filming our moves for their gain.


Strange birds have flown our way.

Are they lost or just can’t find the day?

What’s making them make the change?

Are their lives also being rearranged?


Nothing weirder than the weather,  

Day in blizzard, and then, in heather.

So, if you’re going to Scarborough Fair,

Be prepared to be flooded while there.

So what do you think the woman obsessed with bugs in her body thinks of nosy drones, seeing as male bees are known as drones?

It's interesting and I surely agree with you that these are weird days. Perhaps it is interesting to note in this context that there is an Islamic saying: "Nations get the leaders that they deserve." Harsh perhaps, but seemingly true. Hopefully our democracy can survive.

On the drone issue, I don't see any where I live, and I am on the 16th floor with an expansive view of the bays and the mainland.

You must have had a robust time creating your AI, Ron. It is actually fitting for our time right now, the scary part out loud. Seems many people are finding art forms to express the stress and shock of current events. Paintings, writings, song lyrics. Takes so long to build a house, only minutes to burn it down. Keep on writing about everything — carry the flame ~~ djl. (My favorite two lines are: “Strange birds have flown our way/Are they lost or just can’t find the day?”

Be prepared for anything the, weather is weird. The Trump administration is weird. In some cases, People are weird, a very inspirational write Ron, thank you!
