Dear Debbie,

As your time of departure draws near, and your knees begin to quake;  As you check off every item and your final plans you make;  I would like to help your parting be a time of calm repose, so I've made this little check-list as traveling days draw close:

First of all, the sun tan lotion and a sun hat for your hair;  I hear the sun is awfully hot when you travel way down there!

You'll need repellent for the skeeters, and tweezers to pull out ticks!  Don't forget the can of Raid, or you'll be in a terrible fix.

When you go out for a morning stroll, make a path with your machete.  Take a snake-bite kit along; for emergencies be ready!

Don't forget some medicine, like motion-sickness pills; and a lot of Kaopectate to cure your stomach ills.

If you wear a long grass skirt, you'll really look the part;  as a jungle beauty, you'll win every native's heart.

I want you to have a memorable trip, one that is very nice, so I'll take just one more moment to offer this advice:

When you go to the Interior, don't worry or make a fuss;  just leave a trail of breadcrumbs so
                you can find your way back to us!
