Prehend us with Angelic Hand Asserting Deity, He palms the land The suspense has lathered, sheep have gathered
Those in "Baa...", did not receive Those that nailed you, stayed to grieve Those who stoned you, swallowed And "I believe", those voices followed...
Those that laughed, they wandered, groping ...and I was on my knees there, Lord, hoping! "Take me into your loving hand as I am...with You I stand!"
Prehend us with Angelic Hand Your chosen few, from grains of sand Black sheep’s wool I offered You My forgiving Lord, He changed my hue!
Sitting now at His right side Forever free from Satan’s bide Never, ever, to be snatched again Prehend us with Angelic Hand
Kimmy, you are something else. Not only a beautiful Writer, a mom of 11 also. The artwork is fabulous. The poem a perfection in inspirational write. Where does all of that energy come from.
Powerful message, Kimmy, and well phrased. This makes people sit up straight and listen.

A moving write, Kimmy. One of your best. Deep, meaningful, spiritual. Yes, I found this one quite moving.

Light to amaze the eye...curtained scaffolding and elevator lift us on high, PREHEND US WITH ANGELIC HAND literally translates Renaissance for Michelangelo and the Sistine Restoration! Flanking prophets and sibyls. Van Kooten of another century, Michelangelo's chapters of Genesis from the Creation through the temptation of Eve through the Flood. Just as Michelangelo, Kimmy, I see your angelic creations fill a ceiling 132 by 44 feet, dozens of compositions, the ancestors of Christ, Old Testament prophets, and sibyls of the ancient pagan world..."ALL ROME ADMIRED!"

Self effacing line that also smacks of originality - I am claiming this one for the pulpit - copyright God by the way!!
Intriguing title 'Prehend'(Prehension noun rendered a verb) literally 'grasping physically' as distinct from the verb apprehend -to grap by the senses. We normally use the latter in spiritual speak, eg 'apprehended by the power of the spirit', but your use puts an altogether angle on the act eg a kind of lock stock and barrel. In other words, the surrendering soul has nowhere left to turn, the all encompassing hand of God is irresistible. No doubt this was Jacob's experience when he wrestled with the angel.
Indeed, never to be snatched again by the clutches of Satan.
Kim - you have given me a couplet (above) for Sunday (4th March)- not to mention referrence to 'prehension' itself glad I popped by to review a poem that unexpectedly acted as a bible commentary. Stranger things happen in the attic I suppose

Our culture has taught us to believe in many ideas which aren't actually real. Exposing these illusions allows us to recover the power to live our lives according to our deepest desires.
