I think I can and I can...

Make a decent supper? I think I can...

I put together
Rice and then
Some V-8 juice
So there
A little chopped
Up onion
And celery
Hare hare!

It could be
Spanish rice
Or maybe
"Concoction
With a flair"
I never know
Just what it is
And yes
I do-ooh care

But opening
A cookbook
Just isn't
In me to do
Creating
Something
On my own
Is what I do
Toodle-oo

Dine with us?
Maybe not?
It's mostly good
But sometimes
Flops...
