Doth I say my love for my red chihuahua

A creature whose eyes are dark deep and brown

A creature whose skin is fiery and crimson

A ceature whose bark  sounds that of a high pitch

I wondered deep inside if my unique creature was but a rarity

Whence I read on the Net about a social gathering

for similar lovers of the red chihuahua

I took my cherished animal to the gathering

and saw so many owners with their red chihuahuas

Thus I was disappointed that I had not a rarity

But my disappointment ended when I met someone

A flaxen haired beauty with a dog even redder than mine

We talked into the wee hours while our creatures mingled

as we have in common two creatures there was much to discuss

Thus I have a found love which would never had occurred

If not for this group the lovers of the red chihuahua
