Footsie Wig

Sometimes you can accomplish something in a round-about way.

I wish I wasn't bald just yet
because my naked head gets wet.
If I had a head of hair
all the rain would just stay there.

Instead runs with a spurt
down inside my brand new shirt
past my bottom, down each leg,
to stay dry is what I beg.

Water is resting in my shoes
giving me the squishy blues.
Now everyone stops to gawk
as I puddle when I walk.

So I am going out to buy
a wig to keep my footsies dry.

LOL...Rusty, enjoyed this one. Humor shines in gentle, self-depreciating verse; well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

this is great...I thought about sending this to my principal at the school where I teach, but I better not...not to sure how he would feel about it...he jokes all the time about it, but he might not appreciate one of his teachers joking with him...anyway it made me smile and a smile at your lunch break is always welcome. However, I will give it to my brother inlaw, he's always up for a good laugh...
Blessings,
