When someone says they don't appreciate your poetry, think of the poems as be-u-ti-ful dandys that are flowers of beauty for a little 5-year old on a walk with her Papaw.
My poems idled like bright yellow dandys among velvet bluegrass, spoiling conformed scapes, wilting under pesti-comments, dedicated to purifying the field.
Then I remember the bonding walks with my granddaughter, her squeals of delight, picking those be-u-ti-ful yellow flowers, ignoring the green.
This is BEAUTIFULLY felt Rusty!
Brought Spring rushing back into my mind!
Thank you for that, at this time!
She is 1 lucky Sweetie! For you to appreciate her as much as you do!

There is nothing... absolutely NOTHING that can best a walk with a child... of any age. This is mast4erful confession. I shed a tearful tribute to Paw-paws, G'das and each of us.

You are a special Papaw, Rusty. This poem is very touching and meaningful. I can just hear her little girl's voice say be-u-ti-ful and it gives me the good, grammy chills.
So sweet.

CJ
