Gravity is full of worth
Holds me nicely down to earth.
Without it, my hair would tend
To stand up straight on its end.

I would look like quite a boob
Eating my food from a tube.
And I would look like such a fool
As I dove out of my pool.

I'd tie my notes to a string
Paperweights a useless thing.
A fishing sinker would be a cork
I'd hold my hat down with a fork.

No one would be overweight
Or afraid to rollerskate.
Tons and pounds, we'd disclaim
Feathers and lead would weigh the same.
Breakfast would be quite frenetic
With the eggs that weren't magnetic.

But..my socks would not fall down
There's no way that I could drown.
My scales would show a double ought
We all could be an astronaught
I couldn't use a ball for sport
But no such thing as 'I'm too short'.

I'm thankful for the gravity pull
You see, It keeps my tummy full.
