Holiday time is here again. Near or far, I think of you. Dream of Christmas, long ago. Feel the love surround us all. Set the tree, string the lights Sip your tea and think of me. Michael, Mariah, watch over us Keep us safe from Harm. Hold us close to your breast In the circle of your arms. Let us join our hearts as one. Pray for peace throughout the world, In Bagdad and Africa, And on the American streets.

We can pray for peace. Or meditate. We can also speak up and act.

Because poverty and war are not inevitable.

Very nicely written...let's do pray for peace for everyone. Great timing as well. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful, wouldn't it be great to be thankful for our loved one's coming home from war, Christmas, well peace on earth...wouldn't that be wonderful as well. Enjoyed your write, will be back to visit your den.
