Poem Artwork

A lovely breeze sang through the trees
lifting my spirits

The glorious sun was on the run in and out
of the clouds

My thoughts meandering like the stream I was
sitting by

The twists and turns of  hearts  yearns, weaving
among the ripples

The wishes and wants , the do's and don'ts, slipping
around the stones

If the storm clouds rain I won't complain, for we need it to keep things beautiful

The  sounds and hints of , spring to come, make me thankful  for all the seasons

No thought was so bold as to take hold, on this day I do things without  reason

All is  lazy , lovely, and  leisurely,  in my mood of marvelous  mindless,  moments~~

Sounds like a lovely day! And...I sit here watching the snow continue to fall and sigh...but with a smile, as the snow really is beautiful, and because my kids just finished spring break... hee, hee... guess someone at the school district forgot to inform Mr. Winter it was Spring.

"No thought was so bold as to take hold, on this day I do things without reason" -- the mantra of a woman at peace with herself and the world -- a marvelous example of the way we were all meant to live in my opinion -- your expression is deeply inspirational and full of the comprehension of self worth -- I love this work you share with us Eileen -- joy, peace, and much love to you my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Eileen,
I like the tone of peace of mind here. It's as if nothing can get inside that protective circle of happiness. Nicely penned:)

Marvelous indeed, and I think I'm gonna take your advice, and go find a stream to sit by.

Not only a poem but a kind of balsam for any aching soul, a picture in the mind of a leisure that only the pure of spirit can grab.
Perfect.

You lazy so and so, you just trying to legitimize it, I almost did the same yesterday, it was spring like weather, but I knew it wouldn't last as the birds garnered more food from my hand to hide in the twigs, and sure enough within a few hours it is blistery cold again, no time for lingering on thoughts of spring or standing inactive somewhere dreaming Ha, Nice music though I enjoyed.

This has the freshness of Spring and its longing, too, and that last great line so resonant. Thank you for this splendid piece.
