Midnight Bandit



The midnight bandit enters

He’s searching for adventure

Across the floor he ambles

He’s taken quite a gamble.



He’s hungry and he’s curious

He tries to be mysterious

But now and then he'll blunder

And shake the shed like thunder.



He has such distinctive features

The sneaky little creature

But I admit he’s cute

With his head stuck in that boot.



Around his eyes a black mask

He reaches for a fine flask

It tumbles from his fingers

Ka Boom he dares not linger.



When he sees the light he rushes

Out the door and through the bushes

His ringed tail shakes with fear

That departing little dear.
