Twiddle my thumbs, yawn and sigh Bored to tears and don't know why There's things to do here in the house Like wash the dishes and iron a blouse My feet are restless I can't sit still This book is boring I've had my fill I'll grab my coat, head on out the door Walk a mile or two maybe even more This road is long underneath my feet As I step along to Mother Nature's beat The air is fresh and the sun is hot There's so much to see that I like a lot To walk down this road is an awesome treat Occupies the mind, satisfies the feet
