A lady died, And nobody knows
- What I found When I packed up her clothes.
I was taken aback By her lingerie
Not a single piece Was faded and gray
It made me think Of what I had -
Faded, some torn; It was really quite bad.
Remember your mother And what she always claimed:
Wear clean underwear, honey, Or you will be shamed.
I made it a goal then To stock up all new
Lingerie by the dozens With some of it blue
If I suddenly pass Without even goodbye..
I'll be proud of my undies, So don't even cry.
Hmmm, an unusual poem. But ain't it true? Don't forget to wash the bottoms of your feet before you go out to buy that new underwear. You never know who's gonna see 'em.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
