so, i did. LOL

nose is so sore.
i'll be surprised if i don't wind up with a black eye.
(or maybe two.)
boss asked me to hold open the door, "no prob," says i.

nose is so sore.
he'd brought in extra tables and chairs for mother's day.
"please hold the door."
he had to return them, or more money he'd have to pay.

nose is so sore.
phone rang--boss said to prop the door with a brochure stand.
"i'll answer it!"
that was before i lifted it--it came apart--BAM!!!

nose is so sore.
the top part came off and whopped me square across the nose.
BAP.  OW!!  THAT hurt.
thought i'd broken my glasses.  thought a million "oh, no!!"s.

nose is so sore.
my glasses were safe, but tears were streaming down my face.
oh GEEZ that hurt.
as much as they cost, can't afford to get them replaced.

nose is so sore.
the boss asked me if i was okay.  *whaddaya think??*
i kept my cool.
didn't swear, didn't go "blankety blank blink blink BLINK!!!!!!"

nose is so sore.
didn't go ten rounds with killer, didn't get KO'ed.
did this myself.
i don't even like boxing, too violent, you know?  :-)

*wonder who was calling...*

Aha! Now I've got it...! I knew there was something about you, my sweet, loony tune pal, and now I've truly GOT IT! You're hilarious! You're slightly off-kilter, LIKE ME! (giggle). Sigh.. oh, god, I'm sorry about your nose... BUT... BUT... you've made me laugh out loud and for that I must do a huge cyber hug... (did you feel it? hehe). Carry on, silly! hehe... katy xox.

OUCH! I can feel your pain, Karla. My monster mutt knocked me down a flight of stairs the other day; I thought I'd never get up. But, he was only playing; don't know if I'd be as nice to your boss as your were, though. You are truly a Good Person!
