i've been watching "extreme home make-
over," where a design team redesigns
homes for deserving families. i wond-
er if the design team could make ME
over...LOL

o, the joys of getting older :-) (at
least, i'm getting older LOL)

there are wrinkles in places
where there were none before
and there is grey on the roof
along with leaks galore*

parts have me have traveled south*
others have run away
if you find my brain somewhere
please send it back, okay

girl, you should see my tummy
and massive thunder thighs
and let's not discuss my butt
o, the tears i have cried

i think the foundation's broke
and everything in it
what doesn't work is missing
or threatening to quit

ready for the wrecking ball
'cause my body's a wreck
whoever said aging's fun
i'm gonna kick to heck

need a major overhaul
'cause i look like rover
too dang bad it costs so much
the extreme makeover!

*never you mind...that's for me to know and you to find out!  :-)

I have always been looking for a way to avoid wrinkles on my face and I found out that it was not possible while staying on earth. In space, people do not age much. So Karla, shall we go. Excellent poem

Better to get old and gray, than to have the other alternative...

Yound and blond, tits to die for, and thighs not even ready for child bearing, just for keeping in the air...

HOpe you get thru your makeover, I do know a good carpenter and facelifter if you need one...LOL! Peace, Ed & Rufuz

You always have a positive attitude even in self-deprecation.The external's easy to make over. It's you're warm heart that counts and that's the last thing anyone can work on. Good for you!

HO HO! Don't feel bad, Karla, As you said, at least you are getting older.
But don't we all wish we got a makeover as we age. But, between you and me, I don't mind looking like Rover at all - neither do my dogs mind, but the Mrs. still keeps harpin about my haircuts.

I actually plan to become - The Shaggy Dog!!

(((Karla)))

This is absolutely HILARIOUS! But we ALL have things we don't like about ourselves; too bad the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" can't remodel our bodies like they do homes...that'd be GREAT! Cute write; enjoyed it (and enjoy the show and YOU!)! (I love you just the way you are; in my eyes, you DON'T need any remodeling!!)

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D
