MORE rain forecast. This is great weather for ducks. I, however, am not a duck. (At least, the last time I checked I wasn't...) I am quacking up, though...

Poem Artwork

Lord--

May I ask You, Lord, how much more?
The rains are beginning to pour.
It is coming under my door.
It's getting all over the floor.

I'm going to seek higher ground.
Since this rain keeps sticking around.
Ewww...mold and mildew, I have found.
I'm beginning to hate rain's sound.

I found out that most cars don't float.
I'm gonna have to get a boat.
Wouldn't You know, forgot my coat.
We don't need rain, we don't, we don't!

Our Spring season got a late start.
And now the rain will not depart.
Setting records, we're off the charts.
Need a Miracle...Sun, impart!

I guess it's ok to pray for some sun? I managed to get a full day of work in. I got all my stuff loaded and then came the rain. Hope it didn't wash the paint off.
Love your humor........your friend.......Ron

Yes the weather is wierd, but then I read the other day that several Islands in the Pacific region have gone Under, the penquins are complaining loudly about lack of space, so I am to thinking!

It's been raining cats n dogs here today, again too. Are we synchronizing our weather?

Great write Karla, may the sun shine upon you reel soon.

Speaking of Ducks, I may be headed for the title of one ( Latest writes) wish me luck. Quack Quack

Karla, hon, I couldn't help mentally adding two lines to the
bottom:

"Oh no! Now there's drought!
Lord, did you have to take it to heart?"

The Eds and Andys must be rubbing off on me.
Ha ha...

I enjoyed this much, and quite understand the being sick of
rain. My bedding is mildewing!

You've kept your sense of humor through the torrents... for that and this infectious and perfect rhyme and rhythm, you get the official AD "good sport" award, dear Karla! em... actually, I made that up but if there was one of those awards, YOU'D win it! I'm beginning to feel guilty for loving rain so much. Sigh... but I do. Your poem is a real toe-tapper, indeed! katy xox.

Aunt Karla,

daddys getting a buzz,
u know how he is when he does,
he only hopes that Uncle Ed K does pay,
for the gas that the Rufuzmobile does eat,
when we come for u and take u to a state with more wheat...

no more rain will u have to deal,
just blistering hot sun, enough to seal,
u forever from the effects of being someones watery meal...

Love and licky kisses, Rufuz the Ruthless Dufuz (& dad)
