August 1975 --- just this time of year -- Corpus ...

I remember wimpering as we went from AC'd building to AC'd car and back ... o, yeah, a hurricane off shore trying to make up its mind

naked in front of the fridge sounds interesting

long as it aint Texas beer...

ain't that right. BOY it's hot HoT HOT! but gotta love Texas, regardless. that's great, karla, and i'm oh so happy to be in the air conditioning right now, cause i know it's hot HoT HOT outside! love some of those images, especially:

LOL at Ed! Any excuse! Or even, without one... Can remember this from Spain, Karla, standing bathed in the little yellow light of the frig in the dead of night, feasting on nothing more than it's coveted chill. Seems a distant memory to me now... so remember you are just one minute closer to this unyielding heat suddenly losing its intensity with the winds of change. This, too, shall pass... But I will gladly pay you for a few bottles, if you can capture and ship it; even my shadow looks a more healthy colour than I do now! Can't imagine you'll ever be parted from your sense of humour, Karla... come hell or high water... and I certainly hope it doesn't come to THAT! :)) LOL Kate xx

LOL funny write but being from Nova Scotia where in another month we will soon be having our first frost and anytime after that our first snowfall I never complain of the heat. Good oem Karla.
