Poem Artwork

He emerged from a cloudbank,
a spirit from the four winds,
born of Storm.
His face was creased with ancient
knowledge passed down through time, now
His alone;
obsidian eyes that missed
nothing took in all of His
surroundings;
He saw me, trembling, before Him,
and a smile crinkled His
ageless cheeks -
'I mean no harm,' He said in
a voice gravelly with hail,
'Do not fear.'
He reached into my soul with
His hands and gave me words to
spin the tales ...
and as silently as He
appeared, He was gone in a
single flash -
the only evidence that
He was here is the thunder
in my pen ...
I met the StormSpinner and
am alive to tell the tales
He told me.

Lady K,

The "thunder" is in your heart. You write with no pen. You write with sheer force. Well spun, as you are.

Peace and (((Hugs)))
