It's State Fair time again, kids! :)
"Operator, Operator!" ~~~ The head, dizzy; tummy in r e v o l t as I am blended into scenery: all becomes a blur of life passing in front of rolling eyeballs; mouth opens in pitiful mewlings, to ask the operator in control of my fate to take things S L O W and easy.

Having spent my younger years traveling state to state playing county and state fairs. I can truly relate to this one. As of today I never go on the rides.

A manic fair in Slooooow Texas?
Have fun, fun, fun..
Yea I watched the folks on a fair in town today and wondered how people can be so gullible as to pay to be tortured to the point of being sick, oh well each to their own I guess.
NOW I LIKE THEM JUST FOR THE SHOWS
i STAY AWAY FROM ALL RIDES,
I LEAVE THAT TO MY GRANDKIDS
NOW IS THIER TURN TO START ENJOYING LIFE

I stay off most of the rides now since they seem to make me more dizzy than they used to, or perhaps I no longer like dizzy as much as I once did. Either way, I go to the fair for the funnel cakes, turkey legs, hot dog on a stick, corn on the cob, snow cones and cotton candy, these days. I just can't bring myself to go on those rides that smell of barf anymore, especially if it is my own. ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Cute poem!!

Fair time here too and after this one leaves the State Fair comes into town.I'll be taking mt daughter Maruah. She's the thrill seeker. Me? I'm in it for the feel of straw/hay underfoot; the fair food I wouldn't touch any other time and the rich diverse aromas of cotton candy...yummy!... the farm smell of animals I love in their place. I wouldn't miss the squeel of kids and the crank of all the rides. This is one activity that lends it's own difference once a year.

Ha, Karla, won't catch me on one of those anytime soon. I enjoy watching others have fun at fairgrounds, but nah-ah, my old tummy just can't handly the thrills of those fast rides anymore. You have don't a nice job depicting this dizzying ride. Well done!

In any event, a great write; very well done! BRAVA! Ah, the memories this brings back; we were young and stupid then, glad we are past that wild stage (although we don't mind a wild ride now and then today, just to keep the ol' blood and heart a pumpin'! LOL)!
