another year older...the years
seem to just fly by...
i'm not getting younger (no
matter how hard i try)!
this morning, i noticed there's
some silver in my hair...
guess that's better than being
bald...at least there's some there!
wrinkles make an appearance
deep lines are on my face...
God's Grace has let me live this
long...those lines i'll embrace!
my body has developed
arthritic aches and pains...
it could be worse--least i'm
walking (though i use a cane)!
i don't hear or see as well
as i did in my youth...
so i'll have to adapt--what's
wrong with that? it's the truth!
i don't sleep as well as i
once did during the night....
can get more things done now that
my eyes aren't closed tight!
time has more meaning, now that
i've aged another year...
it could be worse...i'm so blessed
that God let me *be* here! :)
you see, my and my twin sis
were born three months too soon...
that's why i'm thankful for my
life on this day in june!!!! :)
