Surrounded by boxes: what to keep, what to throw away is the dilemma I find myself in. Didn't know I had this much ... s t u f f. Unboxing; repacking; unboxing again, only to repack. Deciding what I definately can't live without is proving to be a bigger challenge then I thought ...
Having moved recently, I'm still going through 'stuff' that for some reason we moved over here, and I really don't know why. Where the heck do we get all this damned 'stuff???'
You are a ant, tell the others ants to come and help, it will be more easy. If I wasn't thousands of miles away, I would be there in a shot helping you moving and sharing a cold beer afterwards.

God Bless you! Moving is fun, packing, unpacking is a drain. Moved so many times I have lost count.... Oh, ummmmmm watch out for the pending storms, some might get a little wild I hear.
I had to do what Andy said, when I cleaned my basement out, I knew where the Christmas decorations and the important stuff was...but then I found this entire section of boxes and bags that I wasn't sure what was inside...I hadn't looked in them in years...I just closed my eyes and tossed them into the good will pile. Years later I still haven't missed anything that was in those boxes and bags...still don't know what was in them...so when in doubt chuck them out! Great write, one we can all relate too!

Each time I've moved I've left or given away anything I hadn't used in that home. Much easier to move now. I have 50 gallon bins and everything goes in them. Stack great in an 18 foot van. Good luck. Lady J

Hi Karla - we do the same with our poems, no?! It is a big challenge - and tiring - 'what to keep, what to throw away' is a very good line for a poem - i am living in Tenerife with a one bag of 'stuff' - most of that bag was my printer and laptop - you'll figure it, rest in-between is the only advice i have for anyone about anything - because all that sorting, makes one dizzy!
