WHEN???

South Central Texas has been inundated by flooding rains; continuous thunderstorms keep dropping incredible amounts of rainfall over the same area. Over 4000 people have been forced to evacuate by the raging waters. Several people have died as a result, several more are still missing. Normal rainfall for this part of Texas is 23 inches a year.
Some communities have had over 43 inches of rainfall in the past week...AND IT IS STILL RAINING. There is no sign of it abating any time soon.
Many people cannot afford flood insurance, or are underinsured.
Please donate to the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army to help out. (I tried to include a web site, flood relief fund, but it doesn't seem to be working...sorry about that.) ANY help will be gratefully appreciated!

I can remember the feeling well of when Fargo and Grand Forks went under back in 97.. What a feeling of frustration to watch and not be able to do anything.. well almost anything.. We sandbagged, we built dikes, we walked dikes, we sand bagged, we watched homes wash away, hopes dashed, and we sandbagegd. Night, day.. hour after hour... tired we would head home and another call would come on the radio.. desperation in their voice... and we would go... sandbagging... My heart goes out to all in Texas who are dealing with this. They are in my prayers.
