... let's see: 6:02 A.M, 62 degrees, when our normal high is supposed to be around 58. Forecasted high: 82. Leaves at peak color in the middle of December?!? It doesn't look or feel like Winter. Don't worry. Just when we get used to the warmth, reality check. It will be cold again by next week, only to warm up a couple days later. Seasons don't last long around here. Christmas lights look strange against the green of the Summer that arrived late. I'm dreamin' of a white ... only snowmen seen are made of wood or plastic. Well, better than last year: tornado warnings howled us into the downstairs closet. Been an unusal year. Odds bodkins! Wish Mother would make up her mind so I would know what to wear. Not to mention putting the heat on during the day and the A/C on at night. Now I'm confused ...
It HAS been an odd year; no, been an odd couple o' years! Ever since I came down, it's like the seasons are mixed up, or maybe I chased the cold/snow away?? LOL Hope not; we just have to takes what we gets. As long as it's not tornadic, I'm happy...well, NOT happy per se, but anythin's better than THAT!! LOL Very well penned; LOVE the title! Odds bokins, indeed!
