After a high of 40 degrees yesterday, it's supposed to be 61 today and in the low 70s tomorrow. :) More than ready--fibromyalgia really acts up when it's cold.

Winter's tightening grip stilled the blood in the veins, putting me to sleep. With Spring's advent, I'm given another chance to flower. :)
You sure are lucky to be enjoying a warmth in the air...I would be happy of we could get up to freezing...hope the warmth helps you feel better

That's a lovely flower and a beautiful verse to describe it. Glad to see sparks of new birth--even in a photo. Its still very much winter here, down in the low thirties many nights.
Karla, be glad you are alive to FEEL the cold! I'd much rather be cold than hot! I know it's not easy for you, with your fibromyalgia, but be glad for that warm sweater or slippers! That'll warm you up! Or make yourself something hot to eat! :) Very well penned; I'd rather have winter stick around for a while longer! Not looking forward to the start of severe weather season!
