I love the rambling conversation in this... and it shows you don't have a one track mind. :~)
But... I also love your weather "reports" and I look for them every day, to see if you are okay.
I think so many of our moods can be described with weather too... Feeling stormy, feeling blustery, feeling hot or cold...

So do we describe weather with our feelings or our feelings with the weather?

Hmmm...

umm... how you like your tea... how the roses are doing... the things the kids get up to these days... I'm amazed that your lines of conversation sound so British! On the other hand, HOW many words do the Inuit have for "snow"? I think you could make a whole Stormspinner lexicon for the degrees of wind and wuthering or heat and frying that you experience waaaaaaay down South there... Wet n' Windy could be.... Wendy... perhaps being a stormspinner gives you little choice. Your picture album of storms must be over flowing. Perhaps learning to place some poems within them you could sell some really neat cards that way. LJ

Here in Texas, the weather is a common theme because it changes so blamed fast! *If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes--it'll change". Ain't it the (gospel) truth! LOL Very well penned, brava, Karla!

I think you are fascinated by the weather and choose it as your conversation and poetry topic but I also believe you have many other different areas of experiences to share and every now and then you let one slip out and it is marvellous.

Karla, what comes your way hits my house within 20-30 minutes, if the wind is a Southwester. And most storms/rains come from that direction.

Had a few boomers and hail yest. afternoon, and you didn't warn me :o) But the rain was surely welcomed. Glad we can talk about the weather...LOL
