Well, we write for ourselves if not for the world. We have a voice, and sometimes it's not easy to reach a lot of people; but through writing we can.

Most of us are compulsive writers and artist who just work for self-satisfaction. I know I am one.

I think that a lot of us feel this way, Karla, and honestly we each probably write for outselves anyway; it is our expression and something we must do. Each writer has their own style and flare and when we read, I think we lock into that and feel a comfort just as we do when we read novels by a certain author..we love and relate to their style of writing. So it is with your poems, Karla, you put your heart and soul into them and we feel this when we read you.
