... freshly washed toeses
(that smell like roses)
-- a bath works wonders.
And poor sore noses,
sick rhyming proses
make me feel under
the weather. Before
this gets worse, no more
silly writes of sick --
so I'll shut the door,
and you won't get bore(d) --
having colds is ICK.
see, even out of the misery of illness you find inspiration and create a great little poem -- cheers Karla, get better quickly and remain well -- peace and much love to you -- JMW
It's great how you can be so creative when you're not feeling well, Karla. I admire that. Me...I'd be curled up with a book & my box of tissues, trying hard not to use my brain. LOL:) Feel better.

Paul's advice is sound. It works every time! I would add "and get lots and lots of sleep." Hope you get to feeling better soon but, in the meantime, keep giving your crud its own Karla-voice! Rebecca
I've had the feeling of having a fever with me for the whole week, and my left nostril stay dry and painful, right up to my forehead, giving me a headache everyday. Not really sure what's going on.
Well you are not alone kiddo, been down with it for a week but have to say, Jimmy's second place finish sure made me feel a lot better...on to Texas, three to go.

Karla.....hmmmm, I think I got what you have, but made it to my Tina Turner concert anyway (dispite not feeling well). I just use the fool-proof way, by covering up in lots of sheets/blankets and just sweat it out.........hope u get up and running again soon. Take care!!!
I heard you weren't feeling well dear, get plenty of rest and each day that goes by will bring you to a closer day of feeling better. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Nothing sick or stupid or like that about this, its a wonderfully funny write & I for one enjoyed it immensely, but I have one request, keep that cold down there in the deep south...thanks Ed
Cute write Karla. Try this; it works for me every time. Take a shower as hot as you can possibly stand it. DO NOT, I repeat; DO NOT turn on the bathroom exhaust fan. Let the room fill up completely with steam and breathe it in deeply. Stay in the HOT shower as long as you can and continue to breathe (duh, ya think?). Then, DO NOT turn the water to cold. Turn the water completely off and stand in the steamed up room for another 5 minutes. Yes, you can dry off if you'd like. Try it; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much better you'll feel. Continue to do this each day (or more if you want). You should be back to normal in just two or three days. Let me know how it works for you. Hope you feel better and God bless.
Funny write, Karla; you do have an excuse! You may think it's stupid; I think it's adoRAble! And now I have an excuse too because I GOT YOUR DA** COLD!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Oh, well, I still loves ya! And that piccy: AWWWWW!!!
