It's like money ---
it's always the perfect color,
it is truly one size fits all,
it's always in season, no matter the weather or time of year,
it's will never go out of style,
it wears well,
and it makes the writer look good.

You're right, we never got rich off of writing. Oh, well. Who cares? Just do it because you can. And if the Muse runs off screaming into the night? Leave the light on, they'll be back. Someday. Mean hearted?? Not so. Honest, yes. If people are offended, so what? They don't have to read. Right? Write. Glad I do. =]

What I don't like about poetry:
I can't make money from it
Don't talk about color fearing the racism word
I offend people sometimes
The Muse sometimes leaves me naked and alone
I tend to not stay in style
Some people are apoplectic
I tend to look mean-hearted
A naïve councilman and a down-on-her-luck single mom try to save their county’s last stand of forest from greedy developers and a dysfunctional government.
