my neck for f a r too long. Time
for warmth and sunshine. Enough
with the chill and high heating
bills, enough with record snows ---
global warming, my ... foot. Been
a bitter season for all,
except for those who needed
it (the Olympics come to
mind). And now, Jack's been served his
eviction papers --- glad to
see him go, even though my
twin sister isn't. Hear there's
some property Down Under
for sale, cheap, and they're looking
for new tenants. I'll even
throw in a good reference!! =]
You and Karen sound like the twins in the Weather House... one in, one out, depending on whether (!!) it's hot or cold, sunshine or rain. I haven't seen one of those for years and now you got me all nostalgic... but, like you, I'm NEVER nostalgic for sub-zero temperatures... unless a good hot toddy and a roaring log fire are within a snowball's distance! Here's to beaches and bikinis instead! :)) xx

Lived in the Midwest all my life but can't seem to think of moving. Guess we'll have another winter like this is 40 years but I'd have to be 108 to be around.
Down Under you say? that Aussies are getting drought, tsunamis, run away hight temperatures, water shortage and a lot of mates with sharp elbows, are you sure sending your CV down there? (LOL)
Hey there, Miss Karla, I hear there's two more storms a'brewin'. And I'll remember these words when the heat of the Texas summer gets you down.

Yup, it sure has been one very wild and strange winter and I too will be glad to see it go, though I dread the heat of summer. Good to read you again, it feels like forever that I have not been on the den as much as I would like to.
Cute write, Karla, but as a fan of winter/cold, I hate to see winter give way to springtime storms and tornadoes! Then you have summer's heat to look forward to. *UGH* I'm NOT ready for either spring OR summer! Sorry! Still, a good write!

I'd take you up on the down under reference, Karla, because I have always wanted to live down there. But it is too late. Australia is as bad off as we are in the area of liberalism, hard to believe, but 'tis true.
