... Hate spiders, especially ones as big as -- cringe. (Dallas comes to mind) ....

Getting too old for
surprises like this:
want my days to be
predictable, with
nothing to upset
the balance.  Someone
forgot to tell Wolf
that, definitely
didn't tell me.  Still
shaking.  Hate spiders,
especially
ones as big as --- cringe.
(Dallas comes to mind.)
Okay, well, maybe
not that big, but big
enough.  Thing reared back,
front legs raised to do
battle with the broom ---
should have taken its
picture, but was too
freaked out.  Thing was HUGE.
Yes, I'm bigger than
it but nerves dwindle
down to baby sized
and howl just as much ---
GAH.  Call me a wimp.
And where was twin sis
during all this?  She
was taking a nap!
She missed the whole
thing, leaving me to
fight the big, bad Wolf.  :/

KARLA - GOD BLESS BROOMS!

Just Saturday afternoon, was cleaning out an old closet in M'Lady's basement -

BIG BLACK HAIRY SUCKER came sneaking out from behind some particleboard -

scared the BE-JESUS outta me! as I swung the broomstick handle he snuck back -

THWACK - THWACK - THWACK ...

NEVER SAW ANY 'REMAINS' ... hopefully - SIP -

SQUASHED IN PEACE !

TK.

LOL... not so funny but you make it sound like it. Glad it is gone and he didn't blow your house down. Hugs, J'nia

I can understand your fear 100%! Not a spider fan either!

I understand how you feel, Karla, the reaction is perfectly normal...I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones, I have no real fear of spiders...as long as we keep the party civil and keep our distance.

Ouch! Sure am glad it did not get you. Them tarantela looking spinders are really gross. Light brown and fuzzy, scary too! Yup, first weapon I grab is that broom, then SPLAT!!!!!

Be always safe,

Blighter. At least you can see the big ones. At Aberliene AFB I was working with a 7 legged Taranchula in the same wiring duct. But that got eaten by a bigger one. The spider that got me was the one I didn't see, the fiddle.

I bet you never realised you can move faster than Tyson Gay.

LOL sounds like me the other day when a spider decided to visit me in the shower moved pretty quickly despite the swollen messed up ankle LOL! Had Amber cracking up!

Wolfs are big enough on four legs let alone eight big black hairy ones! And they have speed in their favour which is perhaps the most unsettling thing about them - especially when they run across your pillow at night! I do try to trap them and teach them to fly by ejecting them out an upstairs window but alas they have never yet quite grown wings and always come back to haunt me!!!! Suction is the answer, I'm afraid... One for the arachnaphobics, Karla. xx

At least "Wolf" could not huff and puff and blow your house down. Very funny...

As long as he didn't huff & puff and blow your house down or the broom out of your hand, then you'd be defenseless probably screaming while running down the street...we don't have big un's like that up here, or I have yet to see them, hopefully I never do...ed

Glad I didn't see Wolf! LOL I'm just glad I didn't find you passed out on the kitchen floor! I liked the part about the nerves dwindling down to baby size. And the part of Wolf being as big as Dallas. LOL Too funny and well done!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :D

You should have left some food for Wolf; he could have been our new pet! LOL
