me. No flowers: except for the
dandelions taking over the yard.
No cards: just bills in the mail.
No romantic candlelit dinner:
can't afford. Where is the love?
Been single so long, wouldn't
know what to do if someone
said, 'Be mine.'
But SomeOne did: loved me
so much He exchanged His
life for mine. Took my sin and
placed it on a cross: gave me
the most precious gift of all ---
eternal life, because I believed.
