told my brother: I will
NEVER live in Texas.

'never' because you will.
Joined the Air Force three years
later, came to Texas,
never left --- been here for
twenty eight years now. And
now we're on pace to break
the record set way back
then. No relief in sight.
Karla, the heat and drought in Texas have been oppressive this year.
My last trip to Texas, other than an airport terminal, was more than twenty years ago now. In July and it was hot in the panhandle. I had been in Texas the year before that and two years consecutivey prior to that. From Dallas to Amarillo it was hot and dry. In Brownsville it was hot and humid. So sorry for the living, or nonliving conditions in Texas. Whenever I hear of the heat there, I think of you and your sister and do hope that you both are well and surviving the heat.
