yesterday was one of THOSE days at work y'all read my rant...sure could have used a perk cashier at a buffet place, it's not hard easy takin' money, checks, credit cards i've been cashierin' for over five years i know my job...they've no reason to fear yesterday...one of THOSE days (like i said) wanted to strangle my boss, but instead i kept my mouth shut...'cause my help had quit can wing it by myself--nothin' to it! boss helped (some)--was pretty much by myself sure could have used help from a santa elf didn't feel appreciated at all i was so stressed out, i wanted to bawl with all that i do, sure could use a raise feel appreciated and get some praise santa must have heard me...because you see someone really DOES appreciate me employee christmas party was last night maybe i'd go, if my mood got just right twin sis wanted to go, so off we went it was a fun evening, was time well spent mexican food, a chinese gift exchange someone stole my gift three times--prearranged? my alarm clock broke--wouldn't go "tick tock" ready to kill that (blankety blank) clock gotta know what time it is--at all times hard to know when the dang alarm won't chime but an alarm clock was waiting for me wow--one that really works! i'm grateful...WHEEEE!!!! (it's not that i'm late--i never sleep in-- pain or insomnia...just ask my twin!!) also got some certificates--FREE FOOD!! yummy...gifts that come in handy...they're good! alas, no raises from powers that be (just wish SOMEONE would appreciate me) am off today...went in to help out some set up the line, get some other things done some guests left me an unexpected gift when i saw what they'd done, gave me a lift three customers sent me cards, and inside some cash...merry christmas!! eyes opened wide it wasn't much, but they sure made my day added bonuses supplement my pay!!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------
somebody does care...thank you. y'all made my day...and i appreciate it so much! y'all have touched my heart and made me cry...thank you, thank you, thank you!! merry christmas...and i hope everyone reading this finds unexpected bonuses in your paychecks or under the tree!!
