i'm gonna have to revise my list
am gonna have to say what i mean
methinks i confused poor santa claus
here...let me go ahead, set the scene...

i asked santa for a few (small) things
mostly for others (i'm not selfish)
for me, i asked him for a small car
boy, santa claus sure granted my wish!

opened presents on Christmas morning
busted out in laughter when i saw
what little prank that santa had pulled
a joke that had me goin' hee haw!

in one big box there was a car key
and i started gettin' excited
i just KNEW i had received my wish
i garon-tee, i was delighted!

in this teeny box a small red car
a small red slugbug--surprise, surprise!!
methinks i won't be drivin' that thing...
'specially since i'm a bit plus size!

sure is a pretty li'l beetle bug
it's made by the matchbox company
i have always liked the way bugs look
santa sure pulled one over on me!

my small red car went with me to work
it fit perfectly in my pocket
one good thing about its tiny size
wouldn't be stole by a pick-pocket!

everyone sure got a big ol' laugh
when they saw what ol' santa had done
think they felt kinda sorry for me
'cause santa had had a bit of fun!

next year, i'll have to tell ol' santa
next year, i will have to specify
i'd wanna be able to drive my bug
*meepmeep* time for another test drive!

sure i have transportation! :)
