Temperature's fallin' It's goin' down fast Wind is a-blowin' Freezin' my...well, you know :) It's been nice and warm We've enjoyed it so We had some cold air We even had snow (flurries) The folks waaaay up North Weary of the cold Just want to share it As winter unfolds (Thanks a lot!!) So, cold's on its way "To Texas, with love," Sent by some yankees Waaaay up North, above (I don't want the bill!!) Now a stronger front Has Texas in sight An arctic cold mass Is due in tonight (brrrrrr!!) The winds are forecast To blow us around Tie everything you Love down to the ground (There goes Karen!!!!) (HOPE not!!) Have to walk to work Would rather stay home Supposed to be warm Instead I'm in Nome (SORry!!) I must go outside (WHERE'S a fireplace??) I hope and pray I Don't freeze off my face!!!! (THAT could be painful...) --------------------------------------------------------------------------
The coldest air of the season is supposed to arrive in North Central Texas, beginning late tonight and continue through the weekend, with tomorrow being the coldest day we've had. Highs in the mid-30s. (BRRRR!!!!) Winds are forecast to blow from 30-40 miles an hour, with higher gusts. Which means the wind chills are going to be a bear. I know y'all are tired of the cold weather y'all been having up North...but do y'all have to be so generous in sharing it with us poor southerners, who ain't used to temperatures like this? (((HUGS))) and brrrrr, it's cold, love, karla. :)

BRRR sounds cold, Im afraid in that kind of cold my body would really rebel lol, wonderful cute write though, keep it up!

I can handle the cold as long as the ice stays away,,I can even handle the snow,,,as long as the Ice stays away, You girls bundle up,,when it gets cold in Tx it gets cold! Love, Lisa

this is too cute; but i am with the northerners. i am used to this kinda' weather; lived in ohio for nearly 40 years, you know. this is how winter is SUPPOSED to be; i don't like thunderstorms or severe weather (or threats of tornadoes!) or rain in the middle of winter! winter to me means COLD and SNOW!!!!! love, your twin, karen lynn.
