i wake up, there's a poundin' in my head,
it feel like my temp's over one hundred,
i shoulda stayed home, went to work instead,
but methinks that i shoulda stood in bed!

have a headache, runny eyes, my poor nose,
it is runnin' just like a water hose,
i've gotta earn a livin', goodness knows,
and it's cold outside...i just about froze!

my boss looked at me, said, why are you here?
i'm dependable, that's me, never fear,
you're still sick...lookin at you, it is clear,
GO HOME before i kick you in the rear!

i told him, first, i'm gonna check my mail,
then into my bed i will put my tail,
'cause i really feel like pure t hay-ell *grins*
i will take care of myself...never fail!

no i ain't got that sars, but i feel bad,
i just hate bein' sick...it makes me sad,
this stupid 'flu bug is makin' me mad,
saddam can have it, send it to baghdad!
