a storm chaser i could never be,
for i'm terrified of storms, you see,

when skies go black, i wanna hide,
where's a basement, someplace safe inside??

they wanna do it, they're on their own,
chasin' storms in the tornado zone,

leave me behind--i don't wanna die,
get picked up by the winds, blown sky high,

or watch lightning dancin' through the clouds,
jumpin' at thunder--it's very loud,

or watch the rain pouring, pouring down,
in flash floods, that's how most people drown,

a storm chaser's job is not for me,
chasin' storms scary...don't you agree?

the chicken in me would start to squalk,
storm chasin'? on that i'd have to balk!!

'sides, i think the storms are chasin' ME,
little ol', little stormphobic me!!
