C-C-C-Coooollddd!!! :)

I know, I know...I said I wouldn't com-
plain about the cold weather anymore,
but DANG, it's freezing out there! My
(ex) Ohio blood ain't used to these
frigid temperatures no more!!
---------------------------------------

i've got to think of a way to get warm
it is so very cold outside
the thermostat's set at eighty degrees
and yet i'm still freezing my hide

have no fireplace to start a fire
my electric blanket is on the fritz
we're not allowed pets or i'd have seven
how'm i gonna survive the arctic blitz

i have no boyfriend to warm up my bed
having sex by myself just ain't no fun
i don't want to climb out of the covers
when the chill factor has been set to stun

my bunny slippers don't like my cold feet
they've turned chicken and i cannot find them
walking to work in this cold is the pits
when will it be summertime?  when?  when??  WHEN???

Oh, man...yesterday, it got so cold around here, I felt my nose freeze and break off my face!

Okay, it didn't really do that, but it got mighty cold here. Sheesh! Needless to say, I can relate to this too well. Nicely done!

I know how you feel, Karla. Moving from Ft Worth to Seattle was a temp shock fall and winter: but only because it's usually so damp, which makes it seem much colder. Took me about a year to get warm. NOW, we've been hit with two weeks of 20 degree weather and snow continues to fall. I HAVE ENOUGH, even the trees are confused! Great write, hon. ~~Bonnie Q

Well Karla you have finally done it, you have lost your Ohio cold weather blood, like you said. U could try to turn your heater down, to maybe 75 rather than 80 and it seems to run more, don't ask me why, should be the other way around, but...Hope you keep warm, I DO know the feeling...gotta buy some more propane tomorrow so I dont freeze either, but I have two ceramic heaters just in case too...Peace and keep toasty, ED & Rufuz

I'll resist the weathered Northerner schock effect
I'll just say that it ain't cold till the house creaks
and the pipes freeze!
I hope that you warm up soon--

Minus 10 here with the Wind Chill Factor. And you think you're cold!! I will gladly trade temps with you - even if only long enough to walk my dogs! BRRRRRR.

DAMN, Sandie...ONLY -6C there?? BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! That's TOOOO Cold; keep it, please! LOL (But it sure would be good to get rid of any BUGS we may have a wanderin' around here in Texas! LOL)

Chilling write, Karla...BRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Felt the sting of the Arctic Chill in this frigid write--but YOU were the one complaining about the heat; now we have cold, and you are STILL complaining...NEVER satisfied, are you??? LOL

(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. (We are cold here in BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLESON, aren't we?? Too bad we don't have any fuzzy, furry kitties to snuggle up to..or a BOYFRIEND! LOL)
