Down in Oregon's Willamette Valley comes the story of a butterfly scheduled for extinction, fights the odds and is no longer an endangered species. I have a photo but it is not jpg or jif.
A Small and Wonderful Thing Dan Johnson © 7 January, 2013 A small and wondrous thing Even angels of their beauty did sing But extinction was the worry If something wasn’t done is a hurry. Endangered species was the cry So good people went to work To save Fender’s Blue Butterfly

A gorgeous butterfly and still on the Endangered List. But it is always wonderful to hear that some good people still work to save endangered species. If only we had millions of 'good people' doing the same, all around the globe.
